When individuals, families and communities have questions about social or governmental resources and services (for ex. about housing, health or financial assistance), I&R is there for them. I&R is an essential part of the human services system.

I&R Specialists who :
- listen actively to understand the client’s needs and issues
- complete a thorough non-clinical assessment
- explain to the clients their options
- advocate on behalf of clients if required
- follow-up to ensure clients have received help needed
