Congratulations to the 211 services providers in Alberta on the expansion of the service to Wood Buffalo, a large northeastern part of the province. This is the third municipality behind Edmonton and Calgary to launch the service in Alberta. The launch took place on Thursday May 22 and was attended by Fort McMurray’s Mayor, Melissa Blake and two MLA’s from the area.
Non-profits FuseSocial, Some Other Solutions, and United Way launched the service that will connect callers to non-emergency social, health, community, and government services with up-to-date and extensive information, reports Aimee Harper from the Fort McMurray Today.
