The Police Chief’s, through their Association, have endorsed the 211 referral cards as part of the tool kit for all police officers in Nova Scotia. For more information read NSCPA release Final Dec 15 2014
The Province of Nova Scotia has announced that 211 is now the phone number for seniors to call in Nova Scotia. The Department of Seniors which previously answered two toll free lines, one for general inquiries and one for senior abuse, is transitioning these lines to 211 effective January 15th.
