bc211, in partnership with the British Columbia Responsible & Problem Gambling Program (BCRPGP), has launched a new pilot program, effective July 16th, 2015.
The objective of this pilot program is to create awareness of BCRPG’s services in the Chinese Canadian community and to increase the number of referrals to BCRPGP`s counsellors who serve this community.
bc211 partnered with BCRPGP, Sheng Li Digital and Drive Digital to develop a Chinese Problem Gaming landing page with live online web chat capability. Clients are able to chat online in either Chinese or English, to seek further information or referral to free, confidential counselling services. Sheng Li will execute a comprehensive digital marketing campaign targeting defined demographic segments of the BC Chinese Canadian community. The campaign will run for the duration of the 6 month pilot program.
bc211’s multi-lingual Information & Referral team will respond to inquiries via live web chat, telephone and email and provide direct referrals to BRPGP`s counsellors.
Based on the results and outcome of the pilot program, BCRPGP will assess the viability of adopting this client engagement approach for other aspects of their service offering.
The program’s objectives align with bc211’s mission to be a leading source of information and a gateway to human services for individuals, service providers and community planners.
